Cookie Notice
Optivian · Last updated: August 14, 2026
1. Scope
This notice explains the cookies and similar browser storage used on optivian.ai, operated by Optivian Solutions Oy ("Optivian", "we", "us"), business ID 3477742-4, Itämerenkatu 3 A, 00180 Helsinki, Finland. It covers our public website only. Data processed inside the Optivian platform is described in our Privacy Policy, which also sets out your rights over your personal data and how to exercise them.
2. Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. It has two buttons, "Accept All" and "Decline", each one click. Unless you accept, no cookie from the table in section 3 is set and no request is made to those providers.
Closing the banner is not consent: nothing loads, and the banner returns on your next visit. Your choice is kept in your browser rather than on our servers, so clearing your browsing data clears the choice as well.
3. Analytics cookies
Set only after you select "Accept All". We use them to understand which pages and campaigns bring people to the site, and to connect a form submission to the visits that came before it. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| hubspotutk | HubSpot | Identifies a returning browser so repeat visits count as one visitor, and links a form submission to that browser. | 6 months |
| __hstc | HubSpot | Records first visit, last visit and visit count for the same browser. | 6 months |
| __hssc | HubSpot | Tracks page views within a single session. | 30 minutes |
| __hssrc | HubSpot | Detects whether the visitor restarted the browser, starting a new session. | Session |
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one browser from another to measure site traffic. | 2 years |
| _ga_<container-id> | Google Analytics | Keeps session state for Google Analytics. | 2 years |
When the HubSpot script loads, HubSpot’s content delivery network may also set short-lived bot-protection cookies: __cf_bm (30 minutes), __cfruid and __cfuvid (both session).
HubSpot is our CRM and marketing platform, provided by HubSpot, Inc. Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Both may transfer data outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
4. Strictly necessary storage
These are needed for the site to work and to respect the choices you have made, so they are always present. Storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for does not require your consent. Where personal data is involved, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a working and secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
| Item | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookie-consent | Local storage | Stores your answer to the cookie banner so we do not ask again on every page. | Until you clear browser storage |
| __hs_do_not_track | Cookie | Set by HubSpot when you reject or withdraw consent. Records your objection so tracking stays off. | 6 months |
| banner-dismissed-* | Local storage | Remembers that you closed an announcement banner. | Until you clear browser storage |
| ollie-tooltip-dismissed | Local storage | Remembers that you dismissed the chat tooltip. | Until you clear browser storage |
| ollie-conversation-id, ollie-conversation-token | Session storage | Keeps your chat conversation going while you browse. | Until you close the tab |
Everything here except __hs_do_not_track is kept in your browser’s local or session storage rather than in a cookie, and we do not send those values to our servers. __hs_do_not_track is a cookie and is sent to HubSpot, which is what makes your objection take effect.
5. Embedded content
Several pages offer a form for booking a demo. The details you enter are sent to us. If you then continue to pick a time, we load a Calendly scheduling widget at that point. Nothing from Calendly loads until you start booking.
Calendly is provided by Calendly LLC, which is based in the United States and sets its own cookies once the widget loads, including a session cookie and cookies that remember your booking preferences. What it does with that data is described in its privacy notice.
6. Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. It reopens the same banner, with the same two one-click buttons you were given the first time.
Withdrawal takes effect immediately: we instruct HubSpot to stop collecting, and we delete the cookies listed in section 3. Withdrawing does not affect anything we lawfully collected before you withdrew. If you have the site open in more than one browser tab, withdrawing in one tab applies to all of them. The HubSpot script itself stays loaded in the page until you next navigate or reload, but it stops collecting from the moment you withdraw.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Note that clearing your browsing data also erases the cookie-consent record and the __hs_do_not_track cookie described in section 4, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.
